Ms. A. Shiny Pradeepa B.E, M.E, (Ph.D)

Head of the Department – EEE

She received the B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University in 2009, M.E degree with first class Distinction in Power System from Annamalai University in 2011 and doing Ph.D. degree from School of Electrical Engineering at VIT Chennai campus. She has Thirteen years of Teaching and research experiences. Her research interests are power system planning, Renewable energy sources, optimization techniques and application of nature-inspired algorithms in power systems. Ms. A. Shiny Pradeepa is now Head of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in PSN College of Engineering and Technology, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. She has published 5 papers in reputed international journals and international conferences. She is a lifetime member of ISRD, UACEEE, IRED, IAENG.

  • The department of EEE was established in the year 2004-2005, with an intense desire to serve the humanity, to train the students to become competitive engineers and to contribute for the nation development.
  • It has recorded a tremendous growth in terms of faculty strength, facility in the laboratory and the department library.
