- M.E. Cryogenic Engineering is a unique course offered by the department
- Recognized as Technology Business Incubator (TBI) by MSME, New Delhi
- 1 Sponsored Research Project completed worth Rs. 19.35 lakhs with funding from BRNS
- PSN – BOSCH center of excellence in industrial automation established at a cost of 2.5 crore
- Solar thermal energy laboratory has been established with funding from AICTE under MODROB scheme.
- Creativity and innovation club is functioning with financial support from AICTE under SPICES scheme
- Faculty members are doing research with foreign collaboration
- Participation in Unnat Bharat Abhiyan by department faculty members and students
- Students of Mechanical Engineering Department have participated and received Rs.10 Lakhs in the Idea Hackathon conducted by Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
