This is a very unique one for Marine Engineering students to learn about the main engine and all other auxiliary machineries in ship in campus. The engine fitted is Zgoda – Sulzer ,  turbocharged, six cylinder ,3600 BHP, 500rpm,water cooled, Poland make.

There are two diesels driven kirloskar make, water cooled generators each 125 KVA capacities are housed. There are several pumps such as jacket cooling water pump, fuel oil pump, sea water pump, fire and general pump, fuel oil transfer pump, main engine lube oil pump, bilge and ballast pump are installed.

There is a boiler, fresh water generator, emergency compressor, purifiers, several tanks are provided for storage and supply of oils.
