  • The objective of Fluid Mechanics and Machinery lab is to study the operating characteristics of hydraulic machines and flow devices.

AERODYNAMICS LABORATORY

  • In Aerodynamics laboratory, students will study and analyse the characteristic of pressure variation over various aerofoil and designed to study the flow visualisation effect over the aerofoil and aircraft.

SOLID MECHANICS AND THERMAL ENGINEERING LABORATORY

  • The Solid Mechanics and Thermal Engineering Laboratory conducts experiments on the fundamental principles of solid mechanics, materials and dynamics and to give conceptual and principles involving in thermal science, especially focusing on Internal Combustion Engine, Steam Generators and Compressors.

AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS LAB

  • The main objective of this laboratory is to prepare the aircraft in an airworthy condition through the various maintenance practices. 
  • This lab offers fundamental ideas about the ground handling operations like Jacking, leveling, rigging of the aircraft. 
  • The aircraft systems lab is also used to train the students about the inspection and servicing activities performed in the aviation field.

BRIAN CENTRE FOR FLOW SIMULATION LABORATORY

  • The main objectives of this lab to model the aircraft components both in 2D and 3D using solid works software. 
  • Ansys software with original license is available to analyse the air craft structures. 
  • In addition, ANSYS Fluent software is available to analyse the flow simulation of the aero foil.
