Anti-Ragging

The following are considered as Ragging:

  • Display of noisy, disorderly conduct doing any act which causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or raise apprehension or fear or shame or embarrassment to a student in any education institution.
  • Teasing, abusing of playing practical joke or causing hurt to such students.
  • Asking the student to do any act or perform something which such student will not in the ordinary course willingly to do.

Punishment:

  • Ragging is criminal offence and shall be punished with imprisonment of 2 years and fine of Rs.100000/.
  • In case anybody is found involved in any form of ragging, they will be dismissed from the institution and also handover to police.
  • They cannot study in other college.
